DOUBLE BOILED CHICKEN WITH SNOW FUNGUS, RED DATES AND TOP SHELL SOUP

DOUBLE BOILED CHICKEN WITH SNOW FUNGUS, RED DATES AND TOP SHELL SOUP

Ingredients

  • 1 no Old Chicken
  • 200 gm Snow Fungus
  • 30 gm Red Dates
  • 20 gm Wolfberries
  • 200 gm Top Shell
  • 4 tsp Salt or to taste

Methods

  1. Put 10 cups of hot water into the pot of the double boiler.
  2. Add in the chicken pieces, snow fungus, red dates, top shell slice, and wolfberries in ceramic bowl.
  3. Steam for about 2~1/2 hours, checking the water level of the double boiler now and again.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Serve with rice or rice vermicelli, noodles, etc.
